STOPSO Awarded Veterans Technology Services 2 (VETS 2) Contract

VIENNA, VA., October 27, 2017 – The General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded Strategic Operational Solutions (STOPSO) a potential 10-year, $5 billion Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) to provide customized Information Technology (IT) services and IT services-based solutions.

Veterans Technology Services 2 contract (VETS 2) is the successor to the previous VETS vehicle awarded in 2006 to 44 companies. VETS 2 is meant to fulfill demand for commercial and non-commercial IT services as defined in the Clinger-Cohen Act and Federal Acquisition Regulation 2.101, according to a Deltek description of the contract. With a $5 billion program ceiling and a five-year base period with one five-year option, VETS allows for long-term planning of large-scale program requirements while strengthening opportunities for service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses.

“This award builds on STOPSO’s 10+ years of successful support in Information Technology services and service based solution to our government and multiple department entities, we look forward to demonstrating our expertise and understanding of systems analysis & cyber technologies.” said Jin Kim, vice president of Strategic Operational Solutions.

  • About Strategic Operations Solutions

STOPSO is an IT strategy and management consulting firm. We work with our clients to define their strategic goals, enhance operational capabilities and empower them with transformational solutions.

STOPSO is a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and a graduated Small Business Administration 8(a) Program Participant.

STOPSO combines small company responsiveness with large company business practices. Achieving both these goals simultaneously often proves to be beyond the reach of many companies, small and large. Much of our success is attributable to the priority STOPSO management places on enforcing technical quality control/assurance, financial oversight procedures, and adherence to the highest ethical and regulatory standards. STOPSO’s success in all these areas is a point of pride and will continue to be a core aspect of the company’s support provided to our clients. STOPSO teams with other small and medium businesses to provide customers with unique and innovative services and products best developed and applied by agile and growing businesses, while our larger business partners provide strong and deep bench strength that enable us to reach back to corporate personnel resources during surge requirements or when unique expertise is specified. This degree of depth and integration helps reduce infrastructure and personnel costs and ensures the development and application of best practices.
