VIENNA, VA., October 27, 2017 – The General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded Strategic Operational Solutions (STOPSO) a potential 10-year, $5 billion Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) to provide customized Information Technology (IT) services and IT services-based solutions.
Veterans Technology Services 2 contract (VETS 2) is the successor to the previous VETS vehicle awarded in 2006 to 44 companies. VETS 2 is meant to fulfill demand for commercial and non-commercial IT services as defined in the Clinger-Cohen Act and Federal Acquisition Regulation 2.101, according to a Deltek description of the contract. With a $5 billion program ceiling and a five-year base period with one five-year option, VETS allows for long-term planning of large-scale program requirements while strengthening opportunities for service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses.
