General Description

The Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) advises the Secretary of Defense on all matters related to small business; it is committed to maximizing the contributions of small business in DoD acquisitions. OSBP provides leadership and guidance to the Military Departments and Defense Agencies to meet the needs of the nation’s war fighters, while creating opportunities for small business while ensuring each tax dollar is spent responsibly.

IDIQ Objectives

  • Provide analytical, technical, administrative, and program support to develop market research, data management, database management, data analytics, and data visualization tools
  • Provide for the development and modeling of DoD-wide procurement approaches
  • Develop small business training and curricula for the defense acquisition workforce. Vision to transform the acquisition workforce into a highly skilled, business-oriented force that provides innovative, efficient, and effective influence to DoD readiness
  • Use innovative, results-based, end-to-end acquisition management tools to manage client acquisition portfolios and increase small business participation to the maximum extent possible in DoD acquisitions

Scope

To provide Analytical, Technical , Technological, Administrative, and Program support to assit OSBP in the development of market research, data analytics, and data visualization tools and develop small business training and curricula for the defense acquisition workforce.
